About Eve Sustainable Enterprise  Program

The program is a 2-year program for Women entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs that is aimed at building their capacity for growth, enhancing their competitiveness, and enabling access to financing. 

The project has three components:

Step 1. Business Training and Networking: A 2-month hybrid capacity-building and business training program for women entrepreneurs to enhance their business skills and capacities and create a collaborative networking platform for the sharing and trading of ideas and experiences to help each other grow their enterprises. The networking platform will also provide opportunities for beneficiaries to connect for business with each other. 

Step 2. Access to Business Coaching and Mentorship: Selected applicants will be placed into an acceleration programme where they will be coached by Access bank Ghana and have access to EU Lead mentorship programmes to enhance the competitiveness of their enterprises and make them investment ready. 

Step 3. Access to Finance: The project seeks to enable access to financing awarding grants to winners in the selected cohort as well as access to business advisory and business funding.

Development Outcomes

In the first year, 200 start-ups and women entrepreneurs will receive training and capacity building. 20 Women will be selected  for the acceleration and access to funding programme yearly. .This project will enhance the productivity of women in various sectors and increase women’s participation in the business ecosystem to impact the country’s economy and  create jobs.The project will also help increase women’s income generation for households, close the gender gap within the business ecosystem and ensure more women benefit from profitable activities along business value chains.
