EVE “MORE WOMEN LEADING” MENTORSHIP INITIATIVE

The More Women Leading (MWL) Mentorship Programme is a one -year programme designed to support, encourage and groom young women leaders, entrepreneurs and women hoping to build their leadership capabilities.

Mentees apply during the application period after which interviews are conducted to select qualified candidates. Mentees are matched using a curriculum with pre -determined goals to EVE Mentors in various professional fields.

The programme is targeted at specific, achievable and relevant time-based goals for all mentees making it easier to track and assess progress. The programme also seeks to achieve the following:

  •  Facilitate the transfer of skills and expertise from Mentors to mentees, creating a dynamic learning environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to mentees in their professional journeys, helping them overcome challenges on their way to become industry leaders.
  • Foster meaningful connections within the EVE community, creating a robust network that transcends geographical boundaries.
  • Cultivate an environment where mentees can thrive personally and professionally, guided by the wisdom and experiences of their Mentors.

The programme is for a period of one year. A six -month commitment period is required from the mentors and mentees. The other six months will be used for continuous learning and engagement.

To ensure continuous growth and programme effectiveness, there will be quarterly evaluation meetings. These meetings provide a platform for mentees and mentors to reflect on progress, address challenges, and collaboratively plan for future success.

An inclusive networking brunch will be organized for all mentees and mentors, fostering a strong program community and facilitating valuable connections across the network.

At the end of the programme, a graduation ceremony will focus on milestones and achievements of mentees with each receiving a certificate of completion.

The “More Women Leading” Mentorship Programme is fostering impactful connections. Mentees are experiencing the value of personalized guidance from EVE mentors. This cultivates career growth, builds confidence, and strengthens the network of future women leaders within the EVE community.
